Another great season of short track mountain bike racing has come to an end. Okay, there are some more races, just no more at PIR. What do you do to get people to come to a racing in 100 degree weather? You turn on the sprinklers with the promise of mud. Well the heat may have kept the faint at heart away but there were still plenty of racers and spectators at this weeks short track race.
Last week I shot completely with a Lensbaby, this week I shot completely with a fisheye. What is a fisheye you ask?
In photography, a fisheye lens is a wide-angle lens that takes in an extremely wide, hemispherical image.

After two weeks of missing the short track races due to illness I was itching to get back out to PIR. This week I choose to shoot the night using my Lensbaby 3G. For those that don't know, this lens creates a spot focus effect then blurs the image out from that spot. Most people initially believe that it is a Photoshop trick done post-processing. The Lensbaby is a cool lens but it often gets left in the bag because it is unique and you have to be in the mood to shoot with it to do it right.
