Battle at Barlow (2011)

On Saturday as I was preparing for Barlow, I realized that I haven't shot Barlow since 2008.  I had big plans for the day, but didn't achieve any of them.  That being said, I still had fun and it was good seeing people that I haven't seen all year.

Cross Crusade @ Washington County Fairgrounds

As a pair of photographers that usually go though one camera body a year due to rain, mud, and grim of cross season; the Washington County Fairgrounds was the perfect cross race. Lots of mud, grim and agony without the wet stuff from the sky; it was everything cross but warmer and drier.

Thank you to Cyclepath for sponsoring us.  Because of their generousity, all of our medium resolution digitial images are free to use for personal and team purposes.  You can find all of our photos here; to see a slideshow of highlights

Cross Crusade @ PIR or SSCXWC

Though the bubbles

You can always expect craziness at Cross Crusade races, but if it is the Singe Speed Cyclocross World Championship you can expect the craziness to be taken to the next level.  Thank to Yakima the craziness was enhanced with a bubble machine and a windmill.  Not like racing cross is hard enough in the mud, lets pretend we are on a mini-golf course while we are at it.

Thanks to Cyclepath's generous support all of our medium resolution digitial images are free for personal use.  Find a photo you want and on the bottom right hand corner of the photo there is a link that say Download Original.  Have fun and drop Cyclepath a note saying thanks.

Cross Crusade Halloween (Day 2)

Over the Jump

Thank you again to Seth at Health & Performance Chiropractic for sponsoring us. Our medium sized images are free for you to use for personal and team use because of HPC. Please send Seth a thank you message if you use an image.

Our photos have been posted for another wild Halloween weekend. The double header made for a long fun weekend. For those camping, there was very little sleep to be had. For those racing both days there was very little recovery to be had with the party going on. To see a slideshow of highlights

Cross Crusade @ Villebois

The Climb

Our photos have been posted here. The new Villebois course was a wonderful new addition to the Cross Crusade. 1200 plus riders invaded a new planned community. I felt sorry for the people that lived in the apartments that may have wanted to sleep in on a Sunday morning. Since the land is slated for development I am not sure if we will get to race on the course again but hopefully so. If you would like to see a slideshow of highlights

Alpenrose had another record breaking turnout with over 1200 racers. The day was perfect cyclocross weather; rain, cloudy, and more rain. What more can you ask for?

Our photos have been posted and can be found here. If you want to see a slideshow of highlights

Battle at Barlow

It is amazing how quickly we fall behind.  Between all the cross races, the pdx strobist group, website redesign and creation of a studio; the blog has been a little bit neglected.  Not a positive, if you are check the blog for our latest activity.  We are sorry and we will be be better.  Look for a whole ton of backlog to come out along with current stuff.  For now you can see all of our photos from Battle at Barlow or you can click on Read More to see a slideshow of hightlights
