Sunday threatened to be a camera destroying day. Rain, Rain, and more rain. It was a nice Portland morning when we started our drive south. That would change as we inched closer to Corvallis. The windshield wipers felt abused at one point; moving as fast as they could but still not making headway. The thought of Dutch Bros kept us going. Once we left Corvallis and headed to Blodgett the skies gave us hope. By the time we were at the race, every racers' prayer was answered. The rain stopped and it wasn't too cold. Now only if it would last the whole day. By the end of the day, there wasn't a clean face on a racer, but there were smiles all around.
