The Cascade Cream Puff (2011)

Another year has come and gone for the Cascade Cream Puff.  Although turnout was lower this year than others, the racing was just as good.  The sun was out, the flowers were in bloom and the course was just about perfect.  A few minor changes had to be made because of snow, but it wouldn't be good mountain biking with out some challenges.  Thank you to Scott and the Cream Puff for sponsoring us once again.  Medium resolution images are free for you to use for personal use.

Test of Endurance (2011)

Another year has come and gone.  Some say that this was the best TOE yet.  The course was just wet enough to make the course fast and tacky.  For some, fast and tacky isn't what they have their mind set on; they are just happy to finish a 50 mile course.  At the end of the day, all those that road are winners.

Portland Short Track Series.

Short track came early this year; that is one week early.  We are going into our forth week of racing.  The weather has been perfect, the courses fun and the competition fierce.

Sisters Stampede (2011)

Second year and another great event by the folks of Sisters Stampede.  The weather threatened to bring cold wet weather but it actually made a less dusty, cooler temperature race.

Mudslinger (2011)

 

Mark this one down for the history books!  I am not sure if there has been a drier race at the current Mudslinger location.  I have seen hard rain, snow and even a sunny day, but have we seen it where there is a sunny day and several prior making the course lacking mud?  Okay, so let's be honest.  There was mud and it was slick, but it wasn't brake clogging, shoe losing, mudslinging mud.

Horning's Hustle (2011)

Rumor has it, that this might be the last year of the Horning's Hustle.  After this year's muddy slick conditions, some people may night mind.  If we did, it would be a sad day to loose another great course that is so close to Portland.

Echo Red to Red

Last year we had so much fun at Echo Red to Red that we had to return.  We feared that it was going to rain but it was another beautiful day for most of it.  Not as nice as last year, but nice.
